AZULU is a Colombian ready-to-wear house recognized for its distinctive blend of artistic vision, a spirit of wanderlust, and rich local craftsmanship.
The brand creates resort-focused collections for a woman whose curiosity about the world and love of travel inspire the way she dresses and lives.
Sculpture, architecture, nature, and destinations that evoke a sense of nostalgia are constant sources of inspiration for the brand. Each collection explores these worlds through a combination of contemporary silhouettes, artisanal details, intricate textures, and a deeply feminine expression.
The brand brings together Colombian heritage and a Mediterranean sensibility, creating a distinct language where craftsmanship and sophistication coexist naturally. The result is a contemporary vision of luxury: pieces with character, thoughtfully made and designed with intention.

Founders
Maya Memovic — Creative Director
Born in Croatia and raised in New York, Maya studied film direction and cinematography before finding fashion as her primary creative language. Her experience at Ralph Lauren, Stella McCartney, and Catherine Malandrino, together with her own practice as a designer, brings a highly visual, international, and storytelling-driven perspective to AZULU.
Alex Srour — CEO
Colombian-born and a second-generation member of a family rooted in the textile and fashion industry, Alex combines an international education with experience at Ralph Lauren and Marc Ecko. His business acumen and deep industry knowledge complement Maya’s creative direction.
Together, they lead AZULU from Colombia, building a distinctive brand that brings together design, craftsmanship, and a global perspective. Their work spans every dimension of the house, from design and product development to production, retail, and international expansion, with a shared vision of AZULU as a contemporary expression of Colombian creativity.
Craftsmanship
Research, development, and production are all managed in-house, with a commitment to conscious practices and the highest standards of quality.
Each collection begins with a meticulous selection of natural fibers and seeds, all crafted in small family-run workshops throughout Colombia. From this process emerge delicate embroideries, intricate textures, and hardware designed exclusively for each collection.
AZULU’s signature silhouettes balance fluid draping with geometric forms, inspired by nature and sculpture, a blend of the organic and the architectural that has become an essential part of the brand’s visual language.
